What the science says
What the science says about using lubricants
The studies we cite did not test this lubricant. What has been studied is the use of lubricants, including water-based ones.
In a 5-week diary, water-based lubricants were associated with fewer genital symptoms than silicone ones, and both types with more pleasure and sexual satisfaction. This is not a cause-and-effect comparison, and the lubricants in the study were not this one.
