It’s designed for use with vaginal dryness and intimate discomfort, and you can use it for oral and vaginal sex. It contains no sugar or artificial colourings. It’s dermatologically tested, and Durex describes it as pH-friendly.
Who it suits and who it doesn't

How to use it and look after it
Use it within 6 months of first opening. To remove it, wash with water: it’s water-soluble and easy to rinse off. Avoid contact with cuts and wounds.
- Avoid contact with the eyes.
- Keep it out of the reach of children.
Compatibility
- Condoms: It’s compatible only with natural rubber latex or polyisoprene condoms; don’t use it with polyurethane condoms.
- Fabrics and washing: It won’t stain and washes off easily with water.
- Fertility: It may reduce sperm motility, although it contains no spermicides.
General tips
Common good practice for this type of product; these are not the manufacturer's instructions.
- Start with a small amount and add more when you need it; with a condom, apply it to the outside once the condom is on.
- Water-based lubes are absorbed as you go: if you notice it drying out, add a little more or a few drops of water to reactivate it.
- If you have sensitive skin, test a small amount on the inside of your arm first and wait a while before using it on intimate areas.
- A lubricant is not a contraceptive and doesn't protect against sexually transmitted infections.
How it differs
- Stimul8 S8 Flavored Lubricant: Stimul8 S8 Flavored Lubricant tastes of cherry, while Durex tastes of strawberry: choose this one if you want strawberry, or the other one if you want cherry.
Our verdict
The formula combines a strawberry flavour with a non-sticky texture and easy washing; remember to use it within 6 months of opening.
