What the science says
What science says about using a vibrator as a couple
The studies we cite did not test this vibrator. What has been studied is the practice: using a vibrator or a toy during sex with another person.
69.7% said they reach orgasm more often, or that vaginal penetration feels more pleasurable, if the clitoris is stimulated at the same time with a finger or a toy.
Those who had recently used a vibrator with another woman scored higher on sexual functioning than those who did not use one or only used one alone. It is a survey: it does not prove that the vibrator is the cause.
