General tips
Common good practice for this type of product; these are not the manufacturer's instructions.
- Don't wear it for too long at a stretch, and take it off as soon as you notice coldness, tingling, pain or skin turning purple.
- Never fall asleep wearing it.
- Put it on when the penis is soft or semi-erect, with a little water-based lube so it slides on without tugging.
- Wash it before and after every use with lukewarm water and mild soap, or with a toy cleaner, and let it air-dry before putting it away.
- Keep it clean and dry, away from heat and sunlight, in a fabric pouch or its box and apart from other toys: some materials react when they touch and become stained or misshapen.
- Before you start, agree on a safe word with your partner and always respect it.
- Keep a pair of round-tipped scissors to hand so you can release the restraint at any moment.
How it differs
- CalExotics Scandal Handcuffs Hog Tie: If you want a central connector included, the CalExotics Scandal Handcuffs Hog Tie comes with one; if four cuffs with universal fastenings and swivel rings are all you need, this set includes those.
