Pivot Protector
The Pivot Protector is a three-layer waterproof blanket you lay over your bed or sofa to keep lubricant and other fluids off your sheets and furniture. The soft fabric on top quickly absorbs liquid, and a waterproof plastic lining sits inside. It's machine washable, and its hook-and-loop base is compatible with the Pivot Play-Pad.

Pivot Protector: what you need to know before you buy
Is it for you?
Who the Pivot Protector is for, and who it isn't for
It suits you if…
- You want to protect your bed or sofa from lubricant and other fluids.
- You want something you can lay out in a moment and then put in the wash.
- You'd rather feel soft fabric than a plastic sheet.
- You have the Pivot Play-Pad, or plan to get it, and want a base to attach it to.
Better look elsewhere if…
- You're looking for a sex swing or a positioning furniture piece. This is a protective blanket.
- You want something disposable. This blanket is washed and used again.
- You usually dry everything in a hot tumble dryer. This one can only be tumble dried with no heat, or air dried.
Our usage tips
How to use the Pivot Protector
- Spread it out on your bed, sofa or wherever you'll be, with the soft fabric side facing up.
- If you have the Pivot Play-Pad, attach it to the bottom layer, which has a hook-and-loop fastening.
- When you've finished, gather it up by folding it inwards so that nothing on top spills onto your sheets.
- Put it in the washing machine on a warm wash.
Cleaning
Machine wash warm. Tumble dry with no heat or air dry, and store it dry and folded.
Our tips
- Do not tumble dry with heat.
- Wash it on its own or with clothes that won't catch on the hook-and-loop base.
- If the lining tears or peels away, it will no longer protect your mattress or furniture in the same way.
