Step by step
How to use the Secret Play bondage kit
- Agree with your partner beforehand what you're going to try, what you're not, and a safe word to stop. You can't talk with the gag in, so also agree a signal without words, such as dropping an object held in the hand.
- Start with the blindfold and the cuffs. Leave the gag, the clamps and the rope until you're comfortable with the rest.
- Adjust the cuffs and the collar so that a finger fits between the piece and the skin. If a hand or foot gets cold, tingles or changes colour, loosen it straight away.
- Test the whip on your own hand first to gauge the force, and build up gradually.
- Leave the clamps on for a short time the first few times and take them off slowly: when they come off the blood flows back, and that is when you feel them most.
- Release all the pieces when you finish and check how the skin looks where there was pressure.
Cleaning
These cleaning tips are our own, general for this type of product. Wipe the faux leather pieces with a damp cloth and a little mild soap, remove the soap with another damp cloth and leave them to air dry, without submerging them. The gag ball touches the mouth: wash it with water and mild soap after every use, rinse it and dry it. Store everything dry, and the rope without knots.
Our tips
- Never leave a person alone who is tied up, gagged or blindfolded.
- Keep a pair of blunt-tipped scissors within reach in case you need to release a restraint quickly.
- With the gag in, check that the person is breathing properly through the nose. Do not use it with a blocked nose or when feeling nauseous.
- Nothing that tightens around the neck: no collar fastened too tight, no sharp tugs on the lead, no turns of rope.
- With the whip, only on fleshy areas, such as the buttocks and thighs. Never on the head, neck, spine, kidneys or joints.
- Do not use the rope to suspend anyone.
- Stop if there is pain you are not looking for, tingling, cold or a change of colour in the skin.
