Our usage tips
How to use LELO Moisturizer 150 ml
- Test it on your skin first if you have sensitive skin. Apply a little to the inside of your arm and wait a while.
- Start with a small amount and add more if you need it.
- Apply it wherever you need it, to your intimate area or your toy.
- If you're using a condom, apply the lubricant to the outside once the condom is on.
- If it starts to dry out, add a little more.
After use
Close the bottle tightly after use and store it away from heat and sunlight. Any residue washes off with water.
Our advice
- If you notice itching, stinging or irritation, stop using it and wash with water.
- If you're allergic to aloe vera, choose another lubricant.
- Lubricant is not a contraceptive and does not protect against sexually transmitted infections.
- Keep out of reach of children.
What the science says
What the research says about water-based lubricants
The studies we cite did not test this lubricant. They looked at people's experiences of using water-based or silicone-based lubricants.
Over 5 weeks, they used one of six water-based or silicone-based lubricants. Water-based lubricants were associated with fewer genital symptoms than silicone-based ones, and both types were associated with greater sexual pleasure and satisfaction. This is an association, not a cause-and-effect relationship.
