Step by step
How to play the Secret Play Massage Time
- Separate the five decks by colour, shuffle each one on its own and lay them out in a row in the middle of the table. The card that shows the category always stays on top of its deck.
- Start naked, or in your underwear if you prefer. The oldest player rolls the dice first.
- Roll the dice. It has six sides: five colours, one for each massage category, and black, which makes you lose your turn.
- Take the top card from the deck that came up and read the challenge and its points. If you don't accept it, it goes to the bottom of the deck and your turn passes. If you accept it, you put it on your side of the table and give your partner the massage.
- Swap your card if you want when the dice lands on a category you already have. You can keep yours or take the next card from the deck, and then you give the new massage.
- Add up the points once you both have a card from each category. Whoever has the most wins, and if it's a tie you keep playing. The loser looks up the reward in the booklet that matches the winner's points and does it there and then.
Manufacturer's warnings
- The manufacturer recommends having massage oil, candles or dim lighting, soft music, a scent, cushions and towels to hand. None of this comes in the box.
- Choose somewhere comfortable, such as the bed or the sofa.
- Whoever is giving the massage decides its length and pace. There's no rush.
