The essentials

Durex Invisible: what you need to know before you buy

Ultra-thin
The idea is that you notice it as little as possible.
Latex
Made of natural rubber: not suitable if you have a latex allergy.
Regular size
There's only one size, regular.

Single-use
Use a new one every time you have sex.

Is it for you?

Who Durex Invisible condoms are for, and who they're not for

It suits you if…

  • You use regular size and want a thin condom.
  • You prefer a condom you hardly notice.
  • You use a lubricant recommended for condoms.

Better look elsewhere if…

  • You have a latex allergy. They're made of natural rubber latex.
  • You need a different size. They only come in regular size.
  • You use oils, petroleum jelly or creams in the area. They damage latex.

Our usage tips

How to use Durex Invisible condoms

  1. Check the expiry date before opening the wrapper.
  2. Open the wrapper with your fingers, never with scissors or your teeth, so you don't tear the condom.
  3. Pinch the tip to leave no air in it, then roll it down to the base while the penis is erect.
  4. Add lubricant if you need it, one recommended for condoms. For anal sex, put extra lubricant on the outside of the condom.
  5. Take it off when you finish, holding it by the base, and use a new one next time.

After use

Don't clean or reuse it: after use, tie a knot in it and put it in the bin, not down the toilet. Keep unused condoms away from heat and out of your wallet, where rubbing damages them.

Our tips

  • Contains natural rubber latex, which can cause severe allergic reactions, including anaphylactic shock, if you have a latex allergy.
  • Stop using it if you feel discomfort or irritation.
  • Use it once only: reusing it increases the risk of breakage and infections.
  • If you use it first for oral sex, put on a new one before any other activity.
  • Use only lubricants recommended for condoms. Petroleum jelly, baby oil, some vaginal suppositories and other medicines applied to the penis or vagina can damage it.
  • For anal sex, don't use Durex Frescor or Lovers Connect.
  • Don't wear two at once: the friction between them can make them break.
  • Keep them out of the reach of children: there is a choking hazard.
