The essentials
CalExotics Cheeky Large Swirl: what you need to know before you buy
Is it for you?
Who the CalExotics Cheeky Large Swirl is for, and who it isn't
It suits you if…

- You want to use it hands-free, stuck to a flat surface.
- You're looking for a phthalate-free silicone anal toy.

Better look elsewhere if…

Our tips
- If you feel pain, stop.
- Don't move it from the anus to the vagina without washing it first.
- Don't use silicone lubricant: it can damage the silicone of the butt plug.
- With a latex condom, don't use oil-based lubricants.
- If you notice irritation, stop using it.
What the science says
What the science says about lubricant in anal play
The studies we cite did not test this butt plug. What they looked at is the use of lubricant in anal sex.
Over 5 weeks, water-based lubricant was associated with more pleasure and satisfaction in anal sex compared with no lubricant. The study looks at anal sex with a penis, not butt plugs.

Is the CalExotics Cheeky Large Swirl suitable for beginners?
Not really. It has a 4.5 cm (1.8 in) diameter, a little more than a ping-pong ball, and it's the large size in the collection. The manufacturer doesn't say how firm it is.
Does the CalExotics Cheeky Large Swirl have a flared base?
Yes. It has a 5 cm (2 in) flared base, wider than the plug, which always stays outside.
