The essentials
CalExotics Alpha Dual Cage & Ring: what you need to know before you buy
Is it for you?
Who the CalExotics Alpha Dual Cage & Ring is for, and who it isn't
It suits you if…
- You want a cock ring that also holds your balls, without combining two pieces.
- You want a stretchy, seamless silicone ring.
- You want to be able to use it in the shower.
- You use water-based lubricant or don't mind switching to it.
Better look elsewhere if…
- You want a cock ring that vibrates. Take a look at the Burton WatchMe vibrating cock ring.
- You prefer a simple single-loop cock ring, without the ball ring. Take a look at the Crazy Bull Daquez Model 4.
- You only use silicone-based lubricant and don't want to change.
Size and measurements
CalExotics Alpha Dual Cage & Ring size: slightly smaller than a ping-pong ball
Each ring is 3.75 cm (1.5 in) in diameter, slightly smaller than a ping-pong ball and quite a bit bigger than a two-euro coin. The manufacturer doesn't say whether this is the inner or outer measurement, and the silicone is stretchy, so it gives when you put it on.

Step by step
How to use the CalExotics Alpha Dual Cage & Ring
- Wash it before first use with warm water and mild soap.
- Put a little water-based lubricant on the ring and on your skin, so it slides on without tugging.
- Put it on while you are soft or half erect, with your cock through one ring and your balls through the other.
- To take it off, pull gently and don't force it. If it's difficult, add a little more lubricant.
Cleaning
Wash it with warm water and mild soap or a toy cleaner, rinse well and let it air dry. Store it dry, away from heat and separate from other toys.
Our advice
- Don't wear it for long periods at a time.
- Take it off as soon as you feel cold, tingling or pain, or if your skin changes colour.
- Don't fall asleep wearing it.
- Don't use it if the silicone has cracks or tears.
