What the science says
What science says about talking and agreeing things as a couple
The studies we cite didn't test this hood. What has been studied is the practice that goes with it: agreeing things and communicating as a couple.
In three studies, the first with 392 adults, feeling a high level of internal consent and using explicit verbal signals were associated with more sexual and relationship satisfaction.
