Men's Lingerie

Men's lingerie is underwear for men designed to look and feel good: boxers, briefs, thongs, jockstraps, bodysuits and chest harnesses, for every day or for a date. To choose, decide how much you want to show, then check the fabric and each brand's size chart.

What is men's lingerie?

Men's lingerie is close-fitting, design-led underwear that is made to be seen as well as worn: lower cuts, fabrics that hug the body, sheer panels and openings. It has moved from a niche to a fast-growing category, because more men understand that what you wear underneath matters, for you and for whoever sees it.

Some pieces are for every day, such as a premium cotton boxer. Others are for a particular moment, such as a sheer mesh jockstrap, an open brief or a leather chest harness. At Loviux the range is arranged in three families: boxer shorts, slips and thongs, and men's costumes.

Types of erotic men's underwear

For fit, the brands that stand out are Addicted, Andrew Christian, CandyMan and Male Power. If you are looking for more leather or fetish-style pieces, you will find them in fetish and leather.

  • Boxers: the best-selling format. They run from classic cuts in a cotton and modal blend to wet-look, sheer mesh and front-opening styles, so they work for daily wear and for occasions.
  • Slips and thongs: minimal coverage, the choice for feeling free and for visual impact. Open briefs are here too.
  • Jockstraps: a front pouch and a completely open back. They started as sportswear and are now an erotic classic, available in mesh and in faux leather.
  • Supporters: they separate the testicles and aim for comfort and looks at the same time.
  • Bodysuits and sets: one-piece or two-piece outfits with sheer panels or openings.
  • Chest and back harnesses: adjustable straps across the torso, in leather or vegan leather, worn with a jockstrap or a brief.
  • Costumes: firefighter, police officer or sailor in fitted versions, for role play.

Styles at a glance: coverage, use and material

Each style of lingerie for men covers a different amount, suits a different moment and tends to come in particular fabrics.

  • Jockstrap: best for an athletic, statement look. Front pouch with an exposed back. Usually mesh or cotton.
  • Brief or slip: best for everyday confidence. Full coverage. Usually cotton or microfibre.
  • Thong or G-string: best for a minimal look and intimate moments. Front-only coverage. Usually Lycra or satin.
  • Sheer or mesh boxer: best for a reveal and for photoshoots. Boxer cut, see-through. Usually mesh or lace.
  • Harness or strap: best for fetish and BDSM. A skeletal frame around the body. Usually leather or neoprene.
  • Costume: best for role play and themed nights. A full outfit. Usually polyester or satin.

Choosing by body type

If you carry weight at the front, jockstraps and briefs that cinch at the rear flatter the hip line. Slim builds tend to disappear in plain boxer briefs, so switch to mesh or sheer cuts for visual texture. Athletic builds suit thongs and contoured slips that frame muscle definition.

Choosing by occasion

For a first reveal, matte microfibre or cotton-spandex briefs in solid tones (navy, burgundy, black) read as confident without being theatrical. For longer nights, breathable mesh holds up better. For special occasions or photo work, leather harnesses and printed costumes make a stronger statement.

Choosing by material

The fabric decides how sexy men's underwear feels on the skin, how it looks and how you look after it.

  • Cotton and cotton-spandex: daily wear, breathable and usually machine-washable.
  • Cotton and modal blend: soft and breathable, common in classic boxers.
  • Microfibre or polyamide: silky, sweat-wicking and good at holding its shape.
  • Mesh: partly see-through, cooling, a statement piece.
  • Faux, vegan and genuine leather: fetish-grade, cared for by hand.
  • Lace and satin: a European feel, delicate, with hand washing recommended.

Sizing and fit

The men's lingerie range runs from S to XXL, but sizing varies significantly from brand to brand, so check each brand's guide. Continental European brands (Passion, Anais, Livco Corsetti) typically run half a size smaller than US brands. Each product page lists the manufacturer's waist range in cm.

If you are between two sizes, take the smaller one: erotic underwear should fit snugly, not loosely, and a thong in particular should sit snug. On a jockstrap, check that the pouch gives you enough room.

Care and cleaning

Wash each piece as its label says. Mesh and fine fabrics such as lace and satin last longer washed by hand or in a laundry bag, in cold water. Leather and faux leather do not go in the washing machine: wipe them with a damp cloth and leave them to air dry.

How to choose your men's lingerie

  • How much you show: a boxer if you want coverage, a brief or thong for less fabric, and a jockstrap if you want an open back.
  • Fabric: cotton, a cotton and modal blend or microfibre for daily wear; mesh, net or wet-look to show off; leather, faux leather or vegan leather for harnesses.
  • Composition: the product page says whether a piece contains polyamide, nylon or elastane; with some elastane it adapts better to the body.
  • Size: most pieces run from S to XXL, but each brand has its own chart, so check it on the product page before you order.
  • Openings and sheer panels: the product page states whether a piece is open, net or semi-sheer.
  • Harness fit: check that the straps are adjustable and which sizes it comes in.

Men's lingerie: frequently asked questions

Is men's lingerie the same as men's underwear?

Underwear is functional. Men's lingerie is designed to look and feel attractive: silhouette, fabric and detail are styled with intent. A quality cotton brief can be both, but mesh, sheer, lace, harness and costume cuts are unambiguously lingerie.

What men's underwear is the most comfortable for daily wear?

Boxers in a cotton and modal blend or in microfibre, with a low cut and flat seams. They are soft, breathable and flattering enough to be sexy without giving up comfort. Addicted and Andrew Christian have lines made for daily wear.

How do I choose the size of erotic men's underwear?

Measure your waist at the belly button and your hips at the widest part, then compare them with the manufacturer's size chart: an M from Andrew Christian is not the same as an M from CandyMan. If you are in doubt between two sizes, choose the smaller, because erotic underwear should fit snugly, not loosely.

What men's underwear has the most impact to surprise a partner?

It depends on your style. A black mesh jockstrap if you want something bold, a well-fitted premium cotton boxer if you prefer something subtle yet flattering, or a firefighter or police costume if you want to go straight to role play.

What is the difference between a jockstrap and a brief?

A brief covers you front and back. A jockstrap has a front pouch and a waistband with two elastic straps that run under the buttocks, so the back is left completely open.

What is an open brief?

A brief with an opening that leaves part of you uncovered without having to take it off. Depending on the model, the opening is at the front or at the back: the product page tells you which.

Is there leather lingerie for men?

Yes. There are chest and back harnesses in leather and vegan leather, and jockstraps in faux leather. You will find more pieces in this style in fetish and leather.

Do you offer plus sizes?

Yes. The Passion and Livco Corsetti ranges run up to XXL. Use the size filter to see only what is currently in stock in your size.

How is men's lingerie packaged?

In a plain box with no branding, no product description on the label and no Loviux logo on the outside. The card statement reads “LOVIUX” only.

Can I return men's lingerie?

Yes, within 30 days, unworn and with the original tags. For hygiene reasons we cannot accept returns on items removed from sealed packaging. Returns are arranged with our customer support.

How much is delivery?

The delivery cost is shown at checkout before you pay.
