The essentials
Intimateline Luxuria Feel: what you need to know before you buy
Is it for you?
Who the Intimateline Luxuria Feel is for, and who it isn't for
It suits you if…
- You want a water-based lubricant that isn't oily.
- You'll be using condoms and want a water-based lubricant.
- You want to lubricate the vaginal or anal area with the same product.
- You prefer a fruit scent in a 60 ml size.
Better look elsewhere if…
- You want an edible lubricant. This one contains natural fragrances, not food flavourings, and it is not recommended for use as food.
- You need a larger amount. This one is 60 ml.
Step by step
How to use the Intimateline Luxuria Feel
- Apply it before sex to the area you want to lubricate, vaginal or anal.
- With condoms or latex toys, the product information says it is compatible: it is water-based.
- Don't use it as food. The scent comes from natural fragrances, not food flavourings.
After use
It is water-soluble. Our advice: wash it off your skin and your toys with warm water, then clean each toy as its manufacturer says.
Our tips
- Start with a small amount and add more if it feels dry. For anal sex you usually need more, and you will need to reapply it often.
- If you have allergies or sensitive skin, test it first on a small patch of skin, for example on the inside of your arm, and wait a few hours.
- If you notice itching, stinging or irritation, stop using it and wash the area with water.
- If you are using a latex condom, do not mix it with oils or oil-based lubricants, as they damage latex.
- With toys: it is water-based, and water-based lubricants are fine to use with toys made from any material, including silicone.
What the science says
What the science says about water-based lubricants
The studies we cite did not test this lubricant. What has been studied is how water-based lubricants compare with silicone ones.
In a 5-week diary, water-based lubricants were associated with fewer genital symptoms than silicone ones, and both types with more pleasure and sexual satisfaction. This is not a cause-and-effect comparison.
