Eros Aqua Hyaluron + Panthenol: what you need to know before you buy
Is it for you?
Who the Eros Aqua Hyaluron + Panthenol is for, and who it isn't for
It suits you if…
- You want a water-based lubricant you can use with latex condoms.
- You use silicone toys and want a lubricant that won't damage them.
- You prefer a lubricant with no colour, smell or taste.
- You'd like to choose between a 100 ml and a 200 ml bottle.
Better look elsewhere if…
- You want a flavoured lubricant. This one tastes of nothing: take a look at the flavoured Aquaglide.
- You want it for use in the shower. It is water-soluble and washes away with the water.
- Glycerin or any of the other ingredients disagrees with you. Check the list before buying.
Step by step
How to use the Eros Aqua Hyaluron + Panthenol
- Put a little on your fingers, directly on the area or on the toy.
- Spread it before you start.
- With a condom, apply it on the outside once the condom is on. It works with latex ones.
- Add more if it starts to feel less slippery.
- Afterwards, wash with water. Wash your toys too.
After use
It washes off skin and toys with water. Keep the bottle tightly closed, away from sunlight and heat.
Our advice
- If you have sensitive skin, try it on a small area first.
- If you notice itching or irritation, stop using it and wash with water.
- If you are allergic to any ingredient, check the full list.
- A lubricant does not protect against pregnancy or infections. For that, use a condom.

What the science says
What science says about water-based lubricants
The studies we cite did not test this lubricant. What has been studied is the use of water-based and silicone lubricants.
For five weeks, they used one of six water-based or silicone lubricants. Those who used a water-based one had fewer genital symptoms than those who used a silicone one, and both types were associated with more pleasure and satisfaction. This is an association, not proof of cause and effect.
